Leighton got Maddie's attention on Tinder with a pick-up line. It must've been good, but not good enough to remember. We started talking in August 2021. Unfortunately, Leighton was leaving for Wyoming to play Na3 hockey for 8 months, so they didn't get a chance to hang out before he left. They just had to chat and FaceTime until Maddie decided to fly out to Wyoming in February of 2022. After that, they dated for a while until they realized the long distance was hard. They ended up breaking up. They got back together in December 2022 and the rest is history.
